A New training program for young employers of the new European Union capitals
in order to strengthen the knowledge of entrepreneurship.
OPCE – the Association of European capitals entrepreneurial organizations - invites young entrepreneurs who live and work in the capital cities of the new EU member states.
As a representant of the local or national associations of entrepreneurs, he/she will follow a 3-day training program offered by any of the OPCE member organizations.
The goal is to strengthen entrepreneurs and their organizations in order to strengthen the role of each Capital City.
Applications will be sent to the secretariat and selected and approved by the next OPCE Board of Directors meeting.
Criteria to select the entrepreneurs:
- Owners or children of the owners of small and medium size companies working in the capital city or in its surrounding areas
- Holders of posts and offices within the associations (for example presidents or members of the steering bodies of the local associations of young entrepreneurs).
- Maximum age 35 years
- English spoken (even better the language spoken in the capital city of the host association).
Commitment by the host organization:
A program consisting of learning about the organization mechanisms and the principles and rules of the associations of the entrepreneurs, visiting the same sized companies and benchmarking will be offered, led by a tutor (an English language skilled entrepreneur or official).
Commitment by the guest young entrepreneur:
A short report in English to highlight the possible improvements of the program in the future.
To inform about his training in his own organization.
Expenses:
The host organization offers meals and the time of the experts.
The guest pays his travel expenses.
